| Omnipless specializes in L-band mobile satellite communication systems design and manufacture and is an approved supplier of Inmarsat Satcom Products. To date, the company has delivered more than 150,000 antennas and systems to a range of customers worldwide.
After building its skills with Flat Panel and Maritime Tracking antennas, Omnipless revolutionised the fuselage mount aeronautical antenna market in 2003, with the release of the HGA-7000 phased array High Gain Antenna and again in 2004, when a new industry benchmark was set with the HGA-6000 tail-mount antenna, beating previous volume, weight and performance marks by a large margin. These, along with the IGA-5000 (an Intermediate gain phased array antenna), the IGA-5006 (the first and still only self steering Intermediate gain antenna), the HGA-7001 (an ARINC 781 compliant High Gain Antenna) and the HGA-8000 (a circular version of the HGA-7000), offer customers a comprehensive selection for any Inmarsat Aeronautical antenna application.
Omnipless also offers the world's most compact Swift64 systems for 128 kbps or 256 kbps switched circuit connectivity. These systems are suitable for Air Transport, Business Aviation and Military Communication applications. Simple installation with flexible, user-friendly interfacing and configuration options provide a hassle free route to applications such as video, data (e-mail, internet and file transfer), fax and voice.

FAA TSO - C132 APPROVAL FOR DLNA
Omnipless recently completed development, qualification and MOPS testing of the DAU-7060 Diplexer/Low Noise Amplifier (DLNA), a vital component in SwiftBroadband (SBB) cabin systems. This enabled Chelton Inc., the USA distributor, to achieve the first ever FAA TSO-C132 for a DLNA. In addition, the DAU-7060 also passed the very stringent ARINC 781 Passive Intermodulation "Sooper Dooper" levels set by Inmarsat, necessary for operating multichannel SBB systems. |
COBHAM SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS ANTENNA SYSTEM SELECTED FOR B787
Rockwell Collins selected the Omnipless/Chelton Satcom HGA-7001 Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Antenna System for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Initially, the HGA-7001 will be used to enable vital long range communications on the flight deck, but in the future it will also support emerging Inmarsat SwiftBroadband services for cabin applications.
The HGA-7001 antenna system is built to the ARINC 781 standard that specifies smaller, lighter and more cost effective SATCOM equipment to aviation OEMs and operators. |
