The DLNA complies with the requirements for a ‘Modified Type A’ diplexer/LNA as specified in ARINC 741 but with reduced insertion loss at the low end of the transmit band. As it covers the full Inmarsat receive and transmit passbands of 1525-1559 MHz and 1626.5 to 1660.5 MHz, it can be used in SwiftBroadband systems, when combined with a suitable HPA.
